We're looking for a Business Services Manager to lead the client experience for our accounting and advisory clients, and to bring out the best in the team behind them.

About the role

As Business Services Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, the person they trust to translate their numbers into clear, confident decisions. You'll lead all client advisory meetings, oversee the compliance work delivered by your team, and make sure every client interaction reflects the quality we're known for. You'll also train and mentor the accountants working under you, building their technical skills while keeping the team's workflow on track.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves the client relationship side of accounting as much as the technical side, someone who reads the room, gives straight advice, and never lets the small things slip.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, building genuine, trusted relationships

• Leading all client advisory meetings and translating financial data into practical, plain-language guidance

• Reviewing your team's compliance work before it reaches the client, holding the line on quality

• Training and mentoring the accountants on your team, developing their technical and client-facing skills

• Managing workflow and capacity across your portfolio so work is delivered on time, every time

• Bringing an advisory mindset to every client interaction, connecting the numbers back to the client's goals

• Looking for ways to use AI and other technology to work smarter and free up more time for high-value advice

• Reporting to Megan, our Founder and Managing Director

What we're looking for

• CPA or CA qualified

• 7-10 years' experience in business services and tax, with genuine client-facing experience

• A natural people person, comfortable leading, training, and mentoring a team

• Confident running client meetings and delivering advice, not just compliance

• Experience reviewing the technical work of others

• Curious about AI and technology, and keen to use it to improve how the team works

• Someone who takes ownership and doesn't need to be chased

As Senior Accountant, you'll manage your own workload across business services and tax, working directly with clients rather than being buried behind the scenes. You'll report to your Business Services Manager, who'll support your development and keep you moving toward more responsibility, more client ownership, and more advisory work over time.

We're specifically after someone with ambition, someone who wants to build toward leading their own portfolio and team down the track, not stay in a senior seat indefinitely.

What you'll be doing

• Managing compliance and tax work for a portfolio of clients to a high standard

What we're looking for

• 3+ years' experience in a similar business services and tax role

• Genuine ambition to progress into a Business Services Manager role, this isn't a "stay senior forever" seat

Bookkeeping at Third Space isn't an afterthought, it's a standalone, full-service offering built on Xero and backed by genuinely great systems.

We're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to deliver high-quality bookkeeping to our Xero clients and to lead our offshore support team.

About the role

As Senior Bookkeeper, you'll be client-facing and hands-on, reviewing the work of our offshore support team, maintaining our high bookkeeping standard, and making sure every client gets accurate, timely, and clearly communicated numbers. You'll work exclusively across our Xero client base, supported by great tech and processes designed to keep things efficient, not clunky.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering high-quality bookkeeping across our Xero client portfolio

• Supervising and training our offshore support team, reviewing their work before it goes to clients

• Acting as a client-facing point of contact for bookkeeping matters

• Using our systems and processes to work efficiently, and looking for ways to improve them further

• Looking for ways to use AI and other technology to lift efficiency without cutting corners on quality

• Keeping client experience front and centre in every interaction

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in a similar senior bookkeeping role

• Strong, current Xero experience, non-negotiable

• Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others

• Comfortable being client-facing, not just working behind the scenes

• A genuine eye for accuracy and quality

• Curious about AI and technology, and keen to use it to improve how the work gets done
